White House holds first-ever Maker Faire

President Obama is calling on everybody in the nation to start sparking creativity and encouraging invention in their communities. America has always been a place for making, he says, but now the movement is bigger than ever. To show it’s support, the White House hosted the first ever Maker Faire this spring, and implemented a National Day of Making, to celebrate all things made.
